
Johnnie A. Hagan, 64 of Hammond, Indiana passed away peacefully Saturday, September 24, 2016.
He is survived by his daughter Jamie Hagan (Eric Adams) of Dover, Ohio and son Jason Ortiz (Katy) of Racine, Wisconsin; grandchildren Dylan Hagan, Elise Adams and Logan Ortiz; sisters Janice (Jim) Turbyfill, Darlene Lopez, April (John) Faitz, Joyce (Matt) Danko, brother Jesse Hagan and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents George and Ezzlee Hagan, brother Daniel Hagan and sister Edna Rose Smith.
Friends may meet with the family at Harrison Park, 5721 S. Hohman Ave, Hammond, IN for a memorial service including military honors for his dedication to our country. This honor will take place Saturday, October 1st at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dave Kiesling officiating. Luncheon to follow.
Johnnie joined the army in 1970 and served in the Vietnam War. He loved cars, fishing and being with his grandchildren. His humor, smile and charm will be missed dearly.
